Ser Vincent de Stieglitz is the estranged count of what once was House Stieglitz of the High Houses of Ishgard. Though he prefers to keep to himself and has fallen into relative obscurity following the final events of the Dragonsong War, he has been known to aid the Scions in specialized missions and frontline assaults.

Founded by Eclarian de Stieglitz, House Stieglitz was an esteemed family of alchemists and scientists, charged with the protection of Camp Silversleep. They were represented by the moon on the Ishgardian flag. Although the house was the wealthiest it had ever been under the rule of Ser Ignatius de Stieglitz, he would come to make it the subject of many negative rumors and gossip. This only worsened when he shared his estate with the Heisenbachs- two Sharlayan scholars and their young son.Vincent was a solitary child. His mother passed during childbirth and his father expressed no interest in raising him. Many of the other noble children feared him for his "draconic" Auri features. Growing up, his closest and most precious companion was the son of the two Sharlayan scholars, Wesley Heisenbach. The pair were inseparable. Many found it quite curious to see an intimidating yet gangly young lord seemingly shrinking behind a soft, baby-faced Miqote.....
